Open registration is its own event. Open play is the session on the calendar. Open registration is how a person takes a spot: capacity, waitlist, which memberships can see it, and whether a credit pays.
Plans are Team $69.99, Club $129.99, Elite $199.99, and Pro $299.99 per month. Card processing is 3.4% + $0.80 per transaction (Stripe 2.9% + $0.30 plus Waresport 0.5% + $0.50). Clubs go live in 24 hours. Free migration is included.
What you set on the event

Capacity
Set how many people can take the session. When the number is reached, signup stops or the waitlist opens. The count is on the event, not a shared spreadsheet.

Waitlist
The next person waits when the session is full. An open spot goes to the next name on the list. Staff are not texting down a paper sign-up sheet.

Credits and membership
Choose which memberships can see the event. A session credit pack or the prepaid wallet can pay for the spot. Everyone else can pay by card, or stay hidden from the list.
Not the same job as open play
Open play answers which court is shared from 6 to 8. Open registration answers who is allowed in, how many spots exist, who is waiting, and which credit or card paid. Clubs that run both keep them on one calendar. Court rates and utilization stay on facility management. The credit pack and wallet stay on membership.

Open registration is an event type for a drop-in, clinic, or class. You set the capacity, the waitlist, who can see it, and whether a credit or a card pays for the spot. The booking stays on the member record.
How is open registration different from open play?
Open play is the session on the court or field calendar: shared play in a time block. Open registration is how someone claims a spot in a capped event. A club can run both. Open play booking lives on /solutions/facility-management.
Can a credit pack pay for a drop-in?
Yes. A session credit pack or prepaid wallet on the membership can cover the spot. Packs and the wallet are on /solutions/membership-dues. Card processing is 3.4% + $0.80 when the family pays by card instead.
Who can see the event?
You choose the membership visibility. A member plan can see and register. A guest or another plan can see a different price, or not see the event at all.
