Frequently asked questions
Is the Waresport mobile app free for athletes and parents?+
Yes. The family mobile app is included with every Waresport plan. Athletes and parents do not pay a separate app subscription or per-family access fee.
Do clubs pay extra for additional parent, coach or staff accounts?+
No. Waresport includes unlimited parent accounts and unlimited staff and coach seats without per-user charges. The organization pays its applicable subscription rather than purchasing individual mobile-app accounts.
Which devices does it support?+
The Waresport app works on iPhones running iOS 15 or later and Android phones running Android 9 or later. There is also a tablet optimized layout for iPads.
Do I need to create a separate account?+
No. When your club invites you, you sign in with the same email or phone number on file. All your athletes show up automatically.
Can grandparents and other guardians get access?+
Yes. Family Access lets you invite multiple guardians per athlete with their own login, notification preferences and billing splits.
Will I get notifications for rainouts and schedule changes?+
Yes. Push notifications fire the moment a coach edits an event, posts a lineup, shares a video clip or sends a message.
What if my club is not on Waresport yet?+
Share your club director's contact and we will help them get set up. Once the club is live, your whole family is invited automatically.
Does the app work offline?+
Schedules, rosters, directions and your latest messages are cached so you can still view everything inside facilities with weak signal.
Real reviews of the apps your club is using right now.
We read thousands of one and two star reviews on Google Play and the App Store. Here is what families say about the youth sports apps they are stuck with.
"Constantly crashes when I try to refresh the schedule. I have to force close it five times a day just to see if practice got moved."
"Push notifications are completely broken. I missed two games because the app never told me the location changed."
"Paying registration in the app is a nightmare. It logged me out three times and double charged my card. Customer service ghosted me."
"If the wifi at the field is bad the whole app freezes. I cannot even pull up the lineup I downloaded earlier."
"Buggy, slow and the design looks like it was made in 2012. My kid laughs at me when I try to find his game time."
"Drains my battery in two hours, asks for location 24/7 and still cannot send me a simple rainout text on time."
Waresport was rebuilt from scratch to fix every one of these.
Native iOS and Android. Offline first. Instant push. Apple Pay and Google Pay in one tap — built for real sports families.
Notifications that actually arrive on time.
Push delivery powered by native APNs and FCM, not email forwarding. Your phone buzzes the second a coach edits an event, posts a lineup, scores a goal or shares a clip.
