Tryout scorecard questions
What is the multi-sport tryout scorecard?
A free live scoring grid for club directors and head coaches. Pick volleyball, soccer, basketball, baseball, or pickleball, load a rubric, score athletes during tryouts, and average scores across coaches.
How is this different from the tryout evaluation form?
The tryout evaluation form builds a blank sheet you can print before the session. This scorecard is for tryout day: enter scores as athletes go, weight the rubric, average multiple evaluators, and export CSV or PDF.
How do multi-coach averages work?
Add an evaluator for each coach. Each coach scores the same criteria. The grid shows the average on each skill and a weighted total. Blank cells are skipped, so a coach can leave a skill unscored.
Can I change the criteria and the weights?
Yes. Each sport opens with a preset pack. Rename a criterion, set its weight from 1 up to the scale you chose (1–5 or 1–10), or add and remove skills. The weighted total is the weight-adjusted average of those skill averages.
Do I need an account to score or export?
No account. You can score before entering an email. CSV and PDF export ask for your name, work email, and role so the club team can follow up. The file downloads in the browser.
What does it cost to run tryouts in Waresport?
This scorecard stays free. Clubs go live in 24 hours. Card processing is 3.4% + $0.80 per card payment. Registration, live scoring, and roster notify sit in the same club login.
